The first guides are being written now. They cover, in order:

• What Intuit's August 2026 lifecycle change actually means. Desktop 2024 has no sunset deadline. Much of the web still publishes a September 30, 2027 date that never appeared on an Intuit-owned page.
• What does and does not convert to QuickBooks Online. A single accurate reference table, because the documentation contradicts itself on attachments and budgets.
• Why a converted file doesn't tie, and how to remediate it. The accounting problems that show up after the data lands.
• Inventory costing after a conversion. Average cost to FIFO, the effect on cost of goods sold, and when Form 3115 enters the picture.
